I bought the Hawkeye C1 paddlesport kit. It's everything that you need for your kayak. The mounting bracket is simple to install. My first time out I was able to find fish with ease. I found a deep hole in the lake that held some fish that i would've never been able to find without it. My second cast landed this slab.
I recently got this FISHTRAX™ 1C-K haven’t yet had time to try it on the water plan on using it soon, price is great considering what product was cost to buy everything separately, like the simplicity of the fish finder, seems like decent quality lcd screen, like the option to use the AAA batteries or more permanent solutions, for a novice easy to use functionality, would like to see maybe a little bigger screen, but I think this would work well for a small boat fish finder or for kayak for sure, time will tell how durable it truly is, the price point for this item is really good though, for a complete setup with brackets and case it came in, only advice I’d give is add a alternate unitrac accessory, my track in my FeelFree lure 11.5 needed the unitrac mount. Very pleased at this point hopefully it will help me catch some fish soon
Well packaged and shipped quickly given that there was a major hurricane happening. I just received the fish finder last night so I have been able to use it yet.
I am a very satisfied customer of the Hawkeye brand fish finder 1c. As a kayak angler this provided what I needed in order to better prepare myself for a successful day! Installing the Hawkeye was easy and this kit provided all I needed. My first trip out with using this finder I successfully caught close to 50 crappie which I caught while dock shooting. The finder allowed for me to know that my target docks had fish under them the rest was on me to get them to bite. I was glad to have this tool so I wouldn’t waste time fishing with nothing around. If your on the fence with this finder get it I know you won’t be disappointed.
